<description>I thought Morton threw it pretty well, but again, location hurt him. Too many walks, and a mistake to Jacobs, a darn fine hitter who did what major league hitters do with mistakes: make you pay.

Now, to the non-major league hitters wearing tomahawks across their chest. How in the world do you justify swinging at the first pitch when you&#039;ve just watched the three hitters before you walk? Frenchy is still a mess; should&#039;ve never been called back up after just three games in Mississippi. That was a big-time reactionary mistake by Wren. Frenchy needed two or three weeks in the minors to try and straighten himself out, not one weekend.

You gotta get on the board in that situation, scoreless game, bags packed, no outs. Fly ball, ground ball (heck, a double play grounder probably short-circuits a big inning, but you still get a run on it), but nothing: two whiffs and a pop up.

Unfortunately, I had a feeling this is what we would see last night. After a great game Monday, the Braves reverted back to form last night.

Gotta win the last four on this trip ... I don&#039;t like their chances.

Bud.
