What a disappointing double header. In fact, I’m not sure how it could have gone much worse, getting out scored on the day 18 to 2 and getting blanked the second game. We are going to need to make some major moves over the offseason, this lineup just isn’t getting it done (of course, yesterday, the pitchers didn’t either).
In the first game Morton gave up four runs and failed to make it out of the third. It was really the walks that did him in. Carlyle was effective, 1.2 scoreless innings. Nunez was awful, four runs in two innings. Bueno wasn’t good either going 2.1 innings giving up five hits and two runs. Boyer ended the game, effectively.
The pitching in the second game wasn’t much better. Campy did get through five innings, but gave up five runs. Bennett pitch two solid innings, while Ohman pitch one scoreless inning. Gonzo was awful, failing to get a single batter out, walking three, and giving up three runs. Tavarez pitched a scoreless inning.
Only bats worth mentioning in either game, Infante had three hits in the first game, Escobar had two in the second.
Braves get rocked, 2 - 10 then 0 - 8

Did you see Bueno throw at Soriano in the 9th inning of the first game? Bobby doesn’t usually put up with that kind of stuff.
